My Classic Album' is a podcast about the most acclaimed and loved albums of all time! There are many great albums out there but there's an extra special ingredient that makes an album a classic album. Join Mike Norris as he dedicates each episode to one classic album and looks at the history of the album and its impact in the years following its release.

​'My Classic Album' celebrates albums from the 1960's right through to the new millennium from musicians as timeless as The Beatles and Queen, bands who rock as hard as Led Zeppelin and KISS, as well as contemporary performers such as Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead.

​Whether it's an album you can't stop playing or one you've never heard, 'My Classic Album' is the perfect companion to some of the greatest albums in history!

Mike is joined by Goodbye June guitarist Tyler Baker as they enter 'Bayou Country' with Creedence Clearwater Revival! The first of three studio albums released by CCR throughout 1969, Tyler and Mike discuss how the band took the world by storm with their swamp rock sound.

Guitarist extraordinaire Sammy Boller stops by to chat with Mike about 'Blizzard of Ozz', the iconic debut solo album from the Prince of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne. Together Mike and Sammy celebrate the album that resurrected Ozzy after his dismissal from Black Sabbath and hail the ungodly talent of guitarist Randy Rhoads. 

How much of an influence has Randy's guitar playing been on Sammy?
Why were the contributions of Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake removed from the 2002 remaster of 'Blizzard of Ozz'?
Who fought for Randy's classical instrumental 'Dee' to remain on the album?
