318 - FREDDY GOT FINGERED

Our 350th film covered! (If you include bonuses and commentaries, and you should, we still watched all of those)

Fredtember ends with one of the most reviled, disgusted, discussed Razzie-winning films known to cinema. Tom Green’s creative-endeavour-to-career-ender Freddy Got Fingered, which includes a ‘fun’ Tom Green Quiz to drive Johnny insane, and Andrew offers multiple fun facts that melt Johnny’s poor brain. Plus discussion of Robert Redford’s passing, The Long Walk,  Spinal Tap 2, Downton Abbey 3, The Conjuring 4, Roger Deakins In Person and The Paper. Hoo boy this one’s an epic, and very silly indeed. Dada-esque if you will, and you should not.

306 - LIONS FOR LAMBS

Remember 2007? When Hollywood wanted to state they didn’t like what was happening, but also didn’t want to upset the concept of democracy that led to here because America rah rah even if erm-ooh-eck? Well, of course not, nobody could remember, it was a rough time for art. So we’re watching a series of actors-in-rooms-talking-tediously-about-not-much.

Here’s the carrot - Johnny watched A Minecraft Movie and Death Of A Unicorn, and the two discuss Jason Statham in A Working Man, plus The Naked Gun teaser chat and Andrew reminds you his first novel The Ferryman Upon The Plains is available to pre-order now at one bookstore, not a good one (amazon).

232 - BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID

From a comedy western to a western with comic elements, it’s time to get some Paul Newman Eyes in the mix, and the eternal charm of Robert Redford. Johnny has never much experienced either of them, and certainly not the palpable chemistry of the duo on screen, so what better time to pull this trigger? And since it’s the day before Zack Snyder’s Justice League drops, we make bold predictions all over the show as to what the 4 hours, 1 minute and 28 seconds contain.
