170 - HOLLYWOOD SWINGING

Every now and then, it's good to just take a step back and have a nice and relaxed episode of CheapShow... and this is the closest we are going to get. This week on CheapShow Paul & Eli decide to have a nice and chill episode. That means the usual collection of rants, mad ideas and disgusting tangents. The cheap chaps tackle a few tales from the dance and shop floor, Paul refuses to stop singing his own made up disco track and we get a Gannon's Golden Games double feature... Which is a bit underwhelming!

169 - FROTHTOPIA

There are strange things afoot in the HoP this week! Paul & Eli focus carefully on the economy comedy content... By talking about how to get rid of a dead body, the practicalities of cannibalism and the fact that Paul may be seriously considering starting up a cult (just as long as he doesn't give away the final destination for all of his followers)! What exactly is Frothtopia? Eventually, the cheap chaps get back on track and deliver a retro video games based edition of The Price of Shite and a thoroughly interesting biscuit based edition of Off Brand/Brand Off. It's choc-tastic!

168 - UNRESOLVABLE SENTENCES

This week, we are sad to announce that Paul Gannon is broken. Whether it's the hard grind of his usual day to day existence or whether it's just because he is an old fart, who knows? All Eli knows, is that he finds this highly amusing. Paul obviously doesn't. It's a show packed with cheap eats and a Price of Shite that we can assure you is all above board and chock full of p-twings!
We'd also like to apologise for Eli's new terrible character. You'll find out why soon enough!

167 - PEEYOBOCKSINTREETSANAOLDDONG

What’s in the box? This week, we take a cautious peek into the CheapShow PO Box and see what’s inside. Luckily there are no severed heads, but there IS a rubber duck, a collection of dusty albums, a selection of European candy, a collection of lesser known gross out cards and, in a shocking twist, our greatest enemy gifts the podcast with something actually kinda awesome! And if it’s your 18th Birthday, he also has a message for you too. Lucky you!
(Yes, we know the episode title is stupid, but there is a reason! Honest!)

166 - BETRAYAL IN THE HOUSE OF PICKLES

It was turning out to be a lovely episode, it really was. It begins with the most epic Sauce Report ever reported. Not only do Eli and Paul enthusiastically discuss McDonald's Big Mac Sauce, but plan to make their own. Eli also brings an amazing sauce discovery to the show, and it's a discovery that could blow the whole segment apart! A little later on, Eli is gifted two delightful treats that brings smiles to everyone's faces...
And then they played The Price of S**** and it all went wrong. Badly wrong.
This is why they can't have nice things.

164 - HOW TO BE A COMPLETE INCH LORD

If there is one thing that Paul and Eli know how to be, it's how to be a bastard! Over the past 160-odd shows, the cheap chaps have been shouting, screaming, arguing and causing trouble for each other without any assistance or guidance. However, this week, they explore the world of "Bitches" and "Bastards" by looking at two books and two board games based on the "How To Be A Complete Bastard" brand. Elsewhere this week, there is a "chunderingly" good edition of Tales of the Shop Floor and we can finally announce the debut of a brand new character, "Inch Man". We're very sorry!

163 - NO CHARACTERS GUARANTEED

After last week's thrilling murder mystery epic, it's back to basics for Paul and Eli on this week's economy comedy podcast! There is a strict "NO CHARACTERS" policy this week as a result, but who knows what happens when push comes to shove. Luckily there is plenty to discover this week when we get a mini Winkie update, reply to some reader emails, dip into the PO Box, tackle a Price of Shite that becomes a "peh-twing" fest and ends with a reveal so demented, so stupid and childish, that one of the cheap chaps will have their reputation in tatters! But who?

162 - MURDER ON THE CHEAP EATS EXPRESS

All aboard for a train trip you'll never forget! Although the "Cheap Eats Express" looks luxurious enough, it hides a deadly secret. This week, Paul & Eli board the train, thinking they are in for a nice, relaxing journey... But instead, they will come face to face with a gruesome murder! Who will be that tragic victim? Who is the killer? It's going to be one hell of a journey for the Cheap Chaps, as they meet a cast of CheapShow "favourites", dodge bullets, battle to the death atop the train itself and maybe, just maybe, find out "whodunnit". Somehow... they also manage to cram in a Price of Shite and a Cheap Eats Segment too.

161 - SEX EGGS & SAUSAGE SQUASH

The truth can now be revealed, one that Eli has been hiding for far too long. What is it? Well, let's just say you won't be able to look at Breakfast the same way ever again. CheapShow returns for its first proper new episode of 2020 and it's packed with all the usual mad, engrossing, unusual and occasionally informative larks. Paul's takes us to his new pizzeria this week to test some cheap frozen pizza in "Off Brand Brand Off", Eli tosses off a Price of Shite and we get two very opposing tales of woe and wonder on the dance floor. It's a packed show, so get comfy, you're going in!

160 - IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS

It's a strange old episode is this! It seems like the whole episode is teetering on the edge on its own barely stable sanity. Will it be Eli's face explosion? Will it be because of the late night recording session that gets to them? Is it thanks to an awful board game based on a terrible TV show? Could it be something to do with the truly demented song choices in Silverman's Platter? Who knows... But maybe listen to this episode with a trusted, neutral party.

159 - TEA STAINED EGGS

It's the start of a new year at CheapShow HQ. Rather than dive straight in to a new episode packed with tat, cheap eats and segments, Paul and Eli have decided to put together a "relaxed fit" episode, where they can take stock of the past 12 months. However, if you think this is going to be a contemplative reflection on 50 odd episodes of he podcast, you are sorely mistaken. In fact, pretty much from the start, things go off on a tangent and it rarely finds its way back. Expect way too many new characters, random thoughts and quite a lot of pointless singing. It's quite the show!

158 - A CHEAPSHOW CAROL

It's only taken 5 years, but the economy comedy podcast is FINALLY doing it's own knock off version of Charles Dickens' yuletide classic "A Christmas Carol". Expect a reasonably troubling and certainly unique interpretation of the source material. Grumpy old Eli gets the Scrooge treatment this year when Paul decides he needs a visit from 3 ghosts. It's definitely not just Paul dressed up in awful costumes. Not at all. Eli is sent whizzing back to the 80s for a retro Christmas morning, hurled into a present day candy store and plays a deathly important game against The Ghost of Christmas Future. His very life is on the line! In fact, Eli's whole reality could be at stake!

Merry Existential Christmas!

157 - THE SKIDS STAY IN THE PICTURE

It's a cornucopia of crap this week as stakes are heightened, tat is donated and voices are raised. In a surprising turn of events, Paul upgrades The Sauce Report to a full, proper segment. It's a decision he soon learns to regret. Eli gets carried away and things get messy. There is a special Price of Shite this week, donated to our POP Box. It would have made for a great head to head... had Paul not read the prices! Along the way, Paul and Eli meet a vengeful Uncle Grumbly, create a new surveillance system and somehow get into another noodle based argument!

156 - MAXIMUM THWOPAGE

Stop us if you have heard this one before... Eli is unwell and in a mood and he... OH you HAVE heard this before? Well how do you think Paul feels? Paul is also not happy with Eli's constant use of the word "Thwopage" so Eli needs to up his game. That does not happen this week. Instead, you are treated to a new Tales from the Shop Floor, an amusingly underwhelming Cheap Eats and a return to Paul's Page Turners, featuring two charity shop books, one definitely more interesting than the other! Same Tat, different day!

111 - MR. MONKEY

We hear you like it hot? Well, CheapShow gets all hot and bothered over more prized chilli sauces in Eli's favourite new segment "The Hot Sauce Experience". Sadly, this time it ends in a lot of stupid pain.

Elsewhere in the world's best economy comedy podcast... Paul gets to explore a box of "Fröth" with some salty surprises and then later discover why Eli storms off at the end of The Price Of Shite: BFG Edition! However, regardless of all this, just who is controlling the thoughts of Mr. Monkey? Find out in Episode 111!

110 - THE SPIDERMILK FALLOUT

"Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies!" as that band once sung, and on this episode of CheapShow, we get to hear just how good/bad the Cheap Chaps are at lying! And lo, should they be caught out, there is a horrible forfeit awaiting their lying, deceitful faces! Before that reasonably grand finale, there is a whole load of unusual food to discover. Paul and Eli have a very strange "Cheap Eats" section that isn't that cheap and you'd not want to eat anything anyway.

Finally, Paul discovers that Poundland had a sale on and decided to see what great bargains he can nab for Eli to review. All that and a little less in "The Spidermilk Fallout".

108 - DICK-A-LOT BEAR

We're back for an episode full of laughs, random tangents, quality tat and a lot of gagging and coughing. Paul has a pretty rough time this week! After a long absence The League of Snacks (and crisps) returns to tackle the mystery of the Doritos. Where will they rank? There is also a overdue return to Silverman's Platter to listen to some unusual charity shop finds. If you care about your childhood, you may want to brace yourself. Finally, Paul and Eli eat some disgusting bug gummies. It's not going to be pleasant!

107 - THE OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY

It's been a big old year for the CheapShow chaps, so they are going to celebrate Christmas in style... with an elaborate, no expense spared, all star Christmas office party... Which goes about as well as you think. Paul is drunk and rude, Eli is sober and angry and no matter how hard they try, they can't keep their "celebrity friends" for interfering. So pour a festive drink, relax and join the party. There's a bit of Chas N Dave, crackers to pull, food and drink to devour, presents to give and a finale which promises to be amazing... but ultimately isn’t. At all. Cue fights, rants and tears before bedtime!
